Frequently Asked Questions
| When do Chadwick Summer Programs run? |
|---|
| Chadwick Summer Programs 2026 offers options that run from June 15 through July 31, 2026. Our five-week Classic Camp program begins Monday, June 22, and runs through Friday, July 24, 2026. |
| Can I take only one class, or can I pick and choose? |
| You may choose as many or as few courses for your child as you prefer for Summer 2026. Classes may be selected as long as your child meets the age requirements for that class and division. Families may enroll in the five-week Classic Camp program or select weekly and specialty camp options. Half-day and full-day options are also available. |
| How old do you have to be to sign up for a class? |
|
Each course has an age or grade-level requirement. Please use your child’s rising grade (the grade they will enter in fall 2026) when registering. For some academic offerings, students will be evaluated early in the program to ensure appropriate placement and may be moved to a different course if needed. |
| I love the ability to change classes and pick courses for my child. Is this possible with Chadwick Summer Programs? |
|
Yes. We offer a wide variety of classes and choices for Summer 2026. Depending on your child’s rising grade level, families may mix and match academics, performing and visual arts, athletics and other specialty courses. Please note that students may not be left unattended at any point during the camp day and must be enrolled in a registered class at all times. |
| Do we have to participate for the entire five weeks, or can my child participate on a week-to-week basis? |
|
What makes Chadwick Classic Camp unique is the five-week accumulation of skills, curriculum sequencing and community building that define the program experience. For families unable to attend the full five-week Classic Camp session, we also offer a variety of weekly and specialty camp options. Students may additionally enroll in Passport Week (June 15–19) and Encore Week (July 27–31). |
| How do I sign up for classes? |
|
Registration opens to the general public at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17. You may register online at: www.chadwickschool.org/summer-registration |
| What if I change my mind and need to cancel my registration? |
|

| Do you offer transportation and lunch? |
|
Bus service is available before and after classes during the Classic Camp session. Routes are offered from Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro and Long Beach. Lunch is offered through our contracted cafeteria provider, Sage Dining. Families may create a student account or use an existing account from previous summers to purchase meals. Participation is optional and may be used as much or as little as desired. Menus will be shared in advance of the Classic Camp session.
