Important Reminders and Information for Year-End Giving to Chadwick School
New tax provisions introduced by OBBB may impact charitable giving strategies for itemizers and non-itemizers. Click here for more details. Donors are encouraged to consult with their tax professional to discuss the most suitable approach for their specific situation.
If you wish to make your Chadwick Fund gift in the 2025 tax year, the following is some important information to ensure your contribution arrives on time.
Ways of Giving

| The gift date is recorded as the date on which the charge is made to your credit card, not the date you provide your credit card number to the school. Credit card gifts can be immediately processed via Chadwick's online giving page. |
| Check |
|
Checks must be postmarked or received by the school on or before Dec. 31, 2025, to qualify for a 2025 deduction. Please note that the date on the check does not determine the gift date. |
| Appreciated Securities |
|
The gift date is recorded as the date that shares are received into Chadwick's account, not the date the transfer is initiated by the donor. Note that transfers can take several days to be completed. Please refer to Chadwick's securities transfer instructions. |
| Matching Gifts |
|
Many employers match a portion or all of their employees’ charitable contributions. When searching for the school in your employer’s matching system, you may find Chadwick School under Roessler-Chadwick Foundation. |
| Pledges |
|
Pledges are also appreciated! Your pledge of a specific amount now allows the school to include your participation and pledge as we track our progress toward this year’s philanthropic goals. You may pledge today and complete your gift by June 30, 2026. You may also set up monthly pledge payments by contacting staff in the advancement office. |
